Night vision is high-value equipment. We ship it accordingly.
Quad Defense uses insured, trackable shipping methods appropriate to the equipment being delivered. All night vision systems and qualifying orders over $2,000 ship free via 2-Day Air. Night vision systems are fully insured and require a signature at delivery.

Tracking information will be provided once the shipment has been processed by the carrier.
When Will My Order Ship?
Processing time depends on whether the product is in stock, requires assembly, or must be sourced from one of our partners. Processing time is separate from the carrier's transit time after shipment.
Within 4 Business Days
Products listed as in stock and ready to ship are generally processed and shipped within four (4) business days.
6–8 Business Days
The current lead time for QDEF custom-built night vision systems is six to eight (6–8) business days once all required components are in stock.
Special-order components, uncommon configurations, manufacturer availability, or specific tube requirements may extend that timeline.
High-Value Equipment Gets High-Value Shipping.
All night vision systems ship free via 2-Day Air, fully insured and with signature required.
The signature requirement helps protect high-value equipment and reduces the risk of a night vision system being left unattended at the delivery location.
Please use a shipping address where an authorized recipient will be available to accept the package.
Night Vision + Orders Over $2,000.
All night vision systems qualify for free 2-Day Air shipping, regardless of order value.
Orders over $2,000 also qualify for free 2-Day Air shipping.
Orders under $2,000 that do not include night vision are subject to the available shipping methods and rates shown at checkout.
Accessory Shipping
Orders under $2,000 that do not include night vision may ship using UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail, or another available carrier service depending on the product, package size, destination, inventory location, and shipping method selected at checkout.
If an accessory order exceeds $2,000, it qualifies for free 2-Day Air shipping under the QDEF high-value shipping policy.
Need It Faster?
Where available, customers may select an expedited shipping option at checkout for eligible orders.
Available expedited services and rates are displayed at checkout based on the order and destination.
Expedited carrier service does not eliminate required build, assembly, testing, sourcing, or processing time.
A custom night vision system still needs to be professionally assembled, tested, and verified before it can be released for shipment.
Built Before It Ships.
QDEF-built night vision systems are not simply pulled from a shelf and placed in a box.
Depending on the configuration, the system may require assembly, component installation, image intensifier installation, optical setup, purging, testing, and final verification before shipment.
The current lead time for custom QDEF night vision builds is 6–8 business days once all required components are in stock.
If your configuration requires a special-order component, uncommon configuration, or specific image intensifier requirement, additional lead time may be necessary. If an extended timeline is expected, we'll communicate that with you.
Where Orders Ship From
Most Quad Defense orders ship from the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
Some products may ship directly from an authorized partner or other fulfillment location depending on inventory and availability.
As a result, an order containing multiple products may occasionally arrive in more than one shipment.
Tracking & Receiving Your Order
Order processing. Your order is prepared for shipment or, for custom night vision, completed through the QDEF build and testing process.
Carrier acceptance. Once the shipment is processed by the carrier, tracking information will be provided for the package.
Track your shipment. Customers should monitor tracking information, particularly for high-value night vision deliveries.
Signature at delivery. Night vision shipments require a signature. Make sure an authorized recipient is available to receive the package at the delivery address.
Carrier Delays
Shipping and delivery estimates are based on expected carrier service and are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Weather, carrier disruptions, holidays, address issues, regional service interruptions, and other circumstances outside Quad Defense's control may affect delivery after a shipment has been transferred to the carrier.
