Nocturn | ALPHA Mount

The “ALPHA” Mount is the pinnacle of night vision helmet mounts. Coming in at 80 grams, it is the lightest and lowest stowing night vision mount available to date for the common “dovetail” shoe interface.

This mount is patent pending with a novel design that incorporates a ball detent force to overcome mechanism while also locking at the stowed and deployed positions. This is purposeful and is designed to defeat unwanted wobble in the mount commonly seen in other night vision mounts while also decreasing the chance of accidental deployment. Completely designed, machined, and assembled in the USA, and built to last with high strength 7075-T6 Aluminum, and 17-4 PH Stainless steel. This mount has an optional factory variant that supports a powered shoe for Nocturn Industries devices that are equipped with this option.

Breakaway Feature

Under enough tension, the ALPHA mount will disengage from the helmet, reducing the chance of damage to the device and injury to the user.

I understand that export authorization must be obtained from the Department of State before these items can be exported abroad or given to foreign persons in the United States.
