🧩 Mono and Bino Night Vision Device 10-Point Inspection List

  1. Visual Exterior Check
     - Inspect housing for cracks, loose screws, or stripped threads
     - Verify housing integrity and ensure no corrosion or moisture intrusion points
  2. Optical Clarity
     - Check objective and eyepiece lenses for scratches, debris, or haze
     - Confirm anti-reflective coatings are intact and free from delamination
  3. Tube Integrity
     - Power on and inspect for dark spots, blemishes, fixed pattern noise, or bright pixel artifacts
     - Verify tube serial number matches build sheet or warranty documentation
  4. Image Quality & Gain Control
     - Test brightness and contrast response through full gain range
     - Confirm auto-gain or manual gain adjustment functions properly
  5. Collimation & Focus
     - Verify infinity focus and diopter adjustment travel
     - For binoculars/quads, ensure tubes are collimated and optically aligned
  6. Power System Test
     - Check onboard and remote battery pack operation
     - Verify battery contacts are clean and polarity markings visible
     - Test battery life and confirm low-power indicator (if applicable)
  7. Mounting & Interface Points
     - Inspect J-arm, dovetail, and G24 mount interface for wear or wobble
     - Confirm secure engagement and smooth articulation
  8. Environmental Sealing
     - Conduct nitrogen purge and verify port seals

ITAR COMPLIANCE AGREEMENT

  1. I am a U.S. Citizen as defined in 22 CFR§ 120.15
  2. I am purchasing the articles identified on the purchase order identified above for use or resale in the United States only.
    • I understand that if the items are resold that it is my responsibility to advise the customer that the product is controlled for export by the appropriate U.S. Government Agency and that I am responsible to notify the customer if there are any export policy of denials associated with the product.
  3. I understand that export authorization must be obtained from the Department of State before these items can be exported abroad or given to foreign persons in the United States.
  4. I understand that, before applying for the appropriate export authorization that I must review and comply with any policy of denials associated with the items.
  5. I understand that the products, technologies and services listed on the attached purchase order are subject to the export control laws and regulations of the U.S. Government and that they fall under the control jurisdiction of the Department of State’s International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  6. I understand that it is unlawful to export, or attempt to export or otherwise transfer or sell any hardware or technical data or furnish any service to any foreign person (as defined in 22 CFR§ 120.16), whether abroad or in the United States, for which a license or written approval of the U.S. Government is required, without first obtaining the required license or written approval from the Department of the U.S. Government having jurisdiction.
  7. I understand that I am responsible for compliance with any and all U.S. Government export controls and regulations and that, if I violate them, it could result upon conviction in severe criminal and civil penalties for my company and me.
